FF to star wars connections

have you ever noticed how many connections to star wars there are in the final fantasy series? my personal favorite is at the end of final fantasy 9 when the final boss says:
"Anxiety leads to fear, fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering."
any fans of both series out there with favorite connections?
