break hp/mp limit

hey all,
first of all id like to say hi, iv been browsing these forums for some time now and have finally decided to sign up. hope to enjoy my time here.

now does anybody have any hints/tips on gettin and weapons or armor with break hp/mp limit? Break HP limit would be the best as all my characters apart from auron has 9999hp. (auron has 15000 n something lol) i no you need wings to discovery X30 for this ability and iv tried many ways to get them but i cant see a simple way to get them. Any help or advise please? thanks

Bribe marlboros(sp?) or giant marlboros for W2D.

You can also fight Shinryu for 2 wings of discovery. But sometimes he drops Dark Matter. As for Break MP limit, fighting King Behemoths (species creation), will afford you the items needed for break MP.

ok cheers guys. also because i havnt got break hp limit on some characters, buyin the health power +200 on the sphere grid, while my character is at 9999, when i get break hp limit will it automatically go to like 12000 for eg if i purchased loadz while on 9999?

BTW, dont use break mp limit, use One mp Cost.

i would go fight Shinryu but i dont think i will bre powerfull enough. last thing anyway do you know what powers are some good against Shinryu then? or if it has any weakness's?

The marlboros are safer. Even the giant ones.

If your squall is fully-cleared the sphere grid, give him auto protect and haste, and he can take out shinryu easy with some casual healing between 5-6 counterattacks. It will take a good few minutes even when hitting for 99999 every time. Or if you happen to use Wakka whos equally pimped out... full Attack Reel will do nicely. I'm not a huge fan of BHPL myself, and BMPL is one of the more useless things you can put on armor (considering you can get One Mp Cost easily with celestial weapons for lulu/yuna)

with 255 defense and auto-protect, you'll find very few things that can break 9999 dmg to a single person, making having 20k-30k Hp not as important cuz you'll still be curagaing and xpoting for the same amount of 6-8k and 9999

Curaga at 255 will cure for about 12k. There are more useful things on armor than break MP, but one MP cost will sacrifice the ability of some weapons to attack (except Lulu and Yuna's) certain enemies.

If a character has over 9999 HP, when you have break HP, it will automatically convert over, similar to equipping +HP/MP percentage armors. Shinryu still requires 2 FULL Attack Reels to defeat. If you can do 99999, you should be fine.

you obviously havent fought the Dark Aeon's, with maxed out Def and Rikku's Hyper Mighty G (Haste Protect Shell Regen and Auto-Life all players) dark Bahamut did in the region of 25k a hit, fortunately for me i have about 80k life although if he does Impulse that gives you full break he will (without a doubt) hit for 99999, considering the only reason you would max out your stats is to fight the Ultimate bosses i would consider haveing as much life as possible is very important

you certainly know how to make a convinceing arguement lol

on a side note, its well worth getting the International version as the Dark Aeon's are the only real challenges in the game i feel (unless you take nemisis into account lol)
