running low on power spheres

At least one of your characters should have Distil Power. Just use that on some weak fiends from early in the game until you've got enough

Distil X and Extract X aren't in the NA version. If you have the NA version i.e. if you are in America, use the Power Distiller item on Kottos (Monster Arena). Then Overkill him and you'll get 40 Power Spheres.

Wow! Running low on POWER Spheres? I never had any problem with those...I had around 70 right after finishig Luca.....I always had problems with Ability Spheres...Speed Spheres were also skint in supply.

Ability Sphere's are rare at the start and Mana shperes get rare at around Macalania...

If he's training in Omega Dungeon, its not inconceiveable that he's running low on power spheres. There aren't many enemies in there that drop power speheres, and if his levels are going up as fast as expected, that would mean his loss is greater than his gain. (Most will drop key spheres, mana, and speed). Ability spheres are always in high demand.

I personally don't have ANY spheres, so I always have to go back fight monsters in the Arena (too lazy to get on the airship to hunt them legitimately). 4 separate battles just to get enough to level ONE STAT on my characters.

I'll have to try distilling the Kottos sometime, though.

If you need power shperes you should go to Kilika island, Mi'ihen Highroad. The places where there's weak fiends.:) Good Luck

kottos is probably the fastest.. easiest would be just keep fighting any monster in the monster arena with power spheres. i also love the monster arena. kinda the best thing since ff7's solo battle arena thing

When I got past Luca, I never had to worry about spheres. Go back to Mi'hen Highroad and kill some easy Fiends, Your spheres should slowly build...

I remember I had a problem with power spheres early in the game but never again. Best way to get any of the sphere is to get them via arena.
