Heavy! Fast! Dave Mustaine is Chuck Norris with long hair and a guitar, James Hetfield is Jesus but with a party animal nature, godly guitaring and amazing vocals.

Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning. Rust in Peace.

The day that Shoden stops listening to Metallica is the day that the world stops spinning.

It's a sucky poll! I like Metallica but not Megadeth, and Opeth but not In Flames. So I abstain.

These threads have way too obvious winners, cool though, it's very unique.

I vote none. All the bands are mediocre, and have one good release with the exception of In Flames who have never released anything good.

Megadeth - Rust In Peace
Metallica - ...and Justice for All
Opeth - Orchid

RTL ands MOP were better albums than Justice for All IMO but Binge and Purge's Justice Medley from 1992 San Diego rocked! Harvester of Sorrow makes Justice for all!

Do you rate on sole opinion or sales because I have something about the sales, but still Metallica's 1st album was cool but RTL, MOP, JFA and Black album were all hardcore albums, Load and Reload were good but just not Metallica. ST Anger sucked ass but Garage inc. had some good covers, anyway Venom could do Megadeth albums but it'd be off topic I think.

Any poll with Metallica and Megadeth on one side is a auto win unless against Maiden, Motorhead, Judas Priest and ALice Cooper.

I vote on opinion and general metal knowledge.

i must say im not a huge fan of any of the four bands, id have to say the former though because Megadeth apeals to me most, a few of their songs i like ie promises and Sweating Bullets :choc:

Megadeth and Metallica are saints of Metal for a reason, they have alot of good songs.
But did you know that the Black Album sold more than Justice for all and ST Antger ties with Kill 'Em All in sales, MOP sold more than RTL, I think that's quite reasonable considering the quality of each album.

Record sales mean nothing for the quality of an album, and I can honestly say that Tiamat's Wildhoney is the perfect example.

If you are basing the quality of an album off of how many copies it sells, you are not a true metal fan.

I was using it as one of the points to say that Metallica have better albums than justice for all and I said that the sales weren't suprising considering the quality of those albums. You cannot determine who is a metal fan and who isn't, a metal fan is just a fan of the genre of metal not someone who goes around finding the ups and downs of every band, album and song in the genre, that is a massive metal fanatic.

...and Justice for all is obviously Metallica's best album.

You say it like it's a fact lol. I prefer the older stuff from RTL and MOP but also some from the Black Album and Load, the live albums were pretty good, Megadeth do very good live too i've heard. I just hope Metallica or Megadeth will come to Newcastle some time in the near future, that would be something great.
