I think she always looks scarey in the X-2 FMVs. Not so much at the begining of the game but near the end......especially the 'Reunion' one. Her face always reminded me of some lifeless doll in this scene :eek:

But uh yeah. She looks weird in all the FMVs. It's a personal preference, but I like the way she looks in FFX much better; she looks strange now. And it's only been 2 years!

WOAH those pics...nightmares for years...
I've noticed quite a few times their faces turn freaky. And I'm not just talking about Yuna. Both X and X-2 seem to have this 'sponaneous fat cheeks and freaky expressions' moments that just pop out of nowhere and freak people out.
Check out Rikku's face in the 'mon-key?' bit in Zanarkand. FREAK.

It's just the way animation works. Take any traditionally animated or CG work and go through frame by frame and you'll see some rather goofy and/or frightening inbetween frames that you'd never notice when watching it because it's just part of the motion.

How come Sora looks cute in the first Kingdom Hearts and he looks like an elf at times (well actually most of the time) in Kingdom Hearts II. It's wierd, isn't it? The people who designed Sora for the FMVs like totally wrecked Sora's whole "cute" reputation. Everybody else in the FMVs look better than the first game except him!WEIRD!!!

Here's the deal.. Yuna looked a lot better in game during X-2, and looked better during the FMV's in X. She was prettier then.. In X-2, her face got wider and she's weird looking.. although still sorta pretty.

I can't post a picture, because my friend has the game, but in the fmv for a thousand words, we noticed that when they sing the verse where they sing together, Yuna whacks Lenne in the face, and Lenne turns and GLARES at her like she wants to kill her.
