Hello everyone, you may not know me for I just joined a short while ago and I haven't had a computer but I exist. So you may choose to ignore me but that is your choice. Introductions aside,

Ok this thread is about the first thing you remember. You just write a short story about the first thing you can remember.

My story:

I was about 5 and my best friend's cat just had a litter and I got one of the kittens and called it Tiger but the next day he ran away and got hit by a car. I was sad. Then I got a new kitten and I had him for 6 years.

My earliest memory was waking up in a dustbin called "Shoden".
But that's only if you don't count my earliest memories. :greenie:

I can remember a looot of things from when I was very little, mostly because I either got hurt in them or embarassed like hell. The earliest one I can remember was when I was 2 or 3, and my mom dressed me in some poofy snowsuit and took me outside. She walked down the driveway to check the mail, and I attempted to chase her, but ended up slipping on some ice, and slapping my forehead on the concrete. Split my head open, still have a bit of a 'goose egg' from it.

I think I remember bits and pieces from a trip I had when I was 3 with my parents. I'm not sure if those memories are really things I remember, or things I think I remember from looking at pictures.

I definately remember starting KG when I was 4 or 5 and sitting next to a girl. I kind of remember what we were talking about. She was saying she hid stuff in her jacket (stuff we imagined).

My grandmother pointing to a calendar for 1990 and saying "Now you're not to use this until next year". Which means my first memory would have been at the end of 1989, when I was three years old, almost four.

I remember walking along Brighton Pier (the old one, both are gone now :() and looking down the cracks in the wood and seeing the sea. I was really scared and I had 20p in my hand and I thought I was going to drop it so I gripped so hard it dug into my hand  . I miss Brighton Piers...

I remember being in the bathroom an looking at shampoo/conditioner bottles, an a brown plastic cup. I remember the shampoo/conditioner were in aqua green coloured bottles. I think they were vidal sassoon, but I can't be sure about that. I was two then. My other ones are also from when I was two. When we moved house, an we hadn't moved all our furniture yet, so I ate my dinner on one of our small glass tables. I like glass tables. An my other earliest memory is going through the hedge to go an visit the neighbour, instead of just walking round to the path. Wasn't I adventurous?

I remember swallowing the little metal thing that you flick up when you open a can of soft drink.

My first real "oh /xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gif, I shouldn't have done that" moment.

My first memory was these kids picking on a girl in kindergarden, so I started throwing things at them and then they backed off. Then we kissed. The girl and I, not the boys. I was like the James Bond of the Kindergarden, except for all the fancy watches and gadgets, but I did have shovel.

I remember crawling out of my baby crib and walking down the hallway to the living room where my dad was watching tv.

This was when we still lived in the trailor, so I wasn't older than about two and a half.

I was two, my dog just attacked my friend in the face. I remember blood everywhere, then my mom taking her halfway (to the scales) to meet her mom to take her to the hospital.

Welcome to EoFF, stranger!

I was four, and I was playing outside with my friends, and I fell over and cracked my head open on the corner of a paving slab. I got up and carried on playing until a few minutes later my eyes filled with red. :grinpink:

Watching Geneis music video "Land of Confusion" which had Spitting Image puppets in it. Such a cool song and video, think I was 4 or 5 at the time.

I remember plenty about pre-school, which was when I was 3 and 4. I have many memories about that time, but I'm not sure which one came first.

Hello and welcome. What an interesting thread topic.

My first memory is me trying to do a somersault when I was almost 3 or 4. I was so excited because we got our first Christmas tree. I sprained my neck.
