Well, here are the common acronyms. I'm too lazy right now to get into the more FFXI specific terms and jargon.

BLM - Black Mage
BLU - Blue Mage
BRD - Bard
BST - Beast Master
COR - Corsair
DRG - Dragoon
DRK - Dark Knight
MNK - Monk
NIN - Ninja
PLD - Paladin
RDM - Red Mage
RNG - Ranger
SAM - Samurai
SMN - Summoner
THF - Thief
WAR - Warrior
WHM - White Mage

EP - Easy Prey
EM - Even Match
DC - Decent Challenge
T - Tough
VT - Very Tough
INC - Incredibly Tough
NM - Notorious Monster
HNM - Hyper Notorious Monster

AF - Artifact Armor
JSE - Job specific equipment
RSE - Race specific equipment

LS - Linkshell
PT - Party
TNL - To next level
WS - Weapon skill
AFK - Away from keyboard

You use INC for Incrdibly Tough? On Fenrir we just use IT.

We also use AFv2 for Relic/AFII whatever drops in Dynamis gear.

WC-Bathroom break.

I dont know how that came to be but i think alot of jp players use that so we eventually adapted it into our acronyms.

I think Miriel meant to type IT, Captain.

Also, I think WC means Wash Closet or something like that, which is the bathroom in Japan, I guess.

Another term is BCNM which is Burning Circle Notorious Monster.

Oh yeah, there's "w" for laughing or something like that. NA players use it when they're trying to be like JP players. >_>

Yeah... just like most of us know what 'w' means I'm sure they know what 'lol' means so for the most part there's no reasont o say 'w' instead except to be a Japanophile. But I've been guilty of that myself so w
