Does the Gain extra Exp materia help AP?

Im at the end of the game the last time i played was like 3 years ago, how can i gain exp. and Ap at the same time.

Use a weapon that gives you double ap, and exp. plus materia.

Equipping the EXP Plus materia just increases the amount of EXP that character will receive.

To get more AP from a battle you need to have Double/Triple materia growth. Aeris, Barret, Cait Sith, Red and Vincent have two Double growth weapons; Tifa and Yuffie have three Double growth weapons; Cloud and Cid have two Double growth weapons and one Triple growth weapon. There are two Double growth armours, but the only one you should bother with are the Rune Armlets bought from Bone Village.
