Im havent played FFTA or FFXI, that knocks out alot for me then, Ill just go with Moogles, moogles are the win !

feion, just so you know, Square-Enix seems to have decided officially that all FF "humans" are called Humes.

I think that's a pretty big assumption to make just because the humans in FFXI and FFXII are called that.

I think it's a general consensus that chocobos, lacking language and a lot of playable character interaction, are animals.

It's come to my attention that Shumis are absent from the list, despite filling both of those requirements. Arguably, you could include moombas as well.
