Blitz Technique

Ummm, is this the american FFIII or the japanese? If it is the american, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE THE BLITZ TECHNIQUE! I have no idea on how to use that. If I don't find out I won't be able to get any farther than 15 minutes into the game.

It's Final Fantasy VI.

You need to select Blitz. Then press left, right, left, a. Do it as slow as you need to.

input the blitz combination when the pointer is on sabin's head.

press down until you reach the blitz command, press the X button on it. do the arrow combination (if your stuck on the vargas battle you need to press left right left.) then press X again and if you pressed the right buttons it should do the attack.

Since you're probably using the SNES version, press A instead of X.

If you fight against Vargas long enough, it will tell you how to do "Pummel", which is left, right, left, A.

However, you don't have to wait. You can just use it as soon as Sabin shows up in the fight and get rid of Vargas all quick-like.

Don't worry, I had the same exact problem fighting Vargas.

I can use Blitz and Suplex, but not the others, anyone else run into this?

Crappy controllers can make blitzes more difficult. If you're using the ROM, try setting the directions to the number pad. 100% success.
