View Full Version : I didn’t apologize for when I was 8 and I made my brother my personal slave for a day

As I sit here in my dressing gown, I look out of my window.
I see fields, holes in the ground, hedges, fields, cars, the sky, fields and my Grandad wearing a hat. But mostly fields.
Fields are not as exciting as one might reasonably expect. They are not full of interesting little creatures, they are not full of shiny treasures, they are not full of exotic women wearing grass skirts. In fact, they are mostly just full of mud and "crops".
Though I am led to believe that quite a number of people are reasonably fond of fields. I find this rather ridiculous!

Anyway.
What are your opinions on fields? Do you like them? Do you not like them? What are your favourite things about fields?

I love fields! It's my dream one day to flop on a green grassy field and just stare up at the blue sky in peace. No people around to spoil it for me. :irked:

I remember running around in a field where the grass (Weeds?) was taller then we (Myself and siblings, of course....no multiple personalities here, right guys? :p) were. That was a lot of fun.....aaaaaah, good times.

Fields are the most horrifically boring thing ever.

I remember standing in the middle of a sunflower field at sunset last summer. The flowers just rolled, and rolled on forever in every direction. It was really cool.

Really cool until we left the field and found ourselves covered in various pokey things that wanted us dead.

Too much /xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gif, it's horrible. They rock if they're /xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gifless so I can play sports in.

Why, what's better than standing on a vast, featureless patch of earth for hours on end? It may just be the most empty and pointless time of your life!

Laddies, fields are where dreams are born!

I walked through a corn field once. I don't know why those green spiney things were on the corn, though. >_> Forests >>>> Fields.

I'm not all that fond of fields. Our property has 1/5 or so acre field behind our backyard. When my siblings and I were little and the grass was taller than all of us, we would play hide-and-seek back there. Now it's just a terrible nuisance due to having to destroy everything there at the end of spring with a weed-eater. However, we've been getting lazy the past few years, and the fire department people get mad at us because it's a major fire hazard when everything's dead.

I haven't. I can't even remember what 'wielded' means. SOMETHING TO DO WITH SWORDS!

I grew up with two fields beside my house. When I was young my parents made me walk through them instead on the side of the road when I went to my grandma's alone. Also we had three-wheelers where we drove in the fields with, a lot of good memories. I remember once seeing a porcupine in a field too. Another time I drove over my leg, also I flipped a three-wheeler in the fields before. Also in the winter, we used to put harnessed on our dogs (Huskies) and they would pull us (me and my sis) in our GTs. ^_^ I have a lot of good memories, few bad, from fields.

There is a field near me, but its always muddy and football matches are always on there.

Our school has a small field/pitch.
In the summer, we hang around the sandpits and sunbathe~

The orange man (above) is holding a rather large sword in his hand. You could say that he is wielding that sword.
But it doesn't have to be a sword, it could just as easy be a brick or a radiator, for example.

Yes, they are. But only by virture of their sheer size. Were they not so vast, they would not be.

Sometimes, Fields are Blue, and when they are, they have a good theme song.
