Leader you can't lose the final battle against seph. It's a plotline driven battle. If he attacks you counter attack and he dies. Before you ask questions know what your talking about. All these questions are really easy also.

Jackpot is correct, you can't lose that battle. His attack won't kill you, and you will always counter and defeat him. As to the question difficulty, that's up to leader, Jackpot. Question difficulty is a relative thing. What is easy to one person may be difficult for another. Just let him ask what he wants to ask, and leave him alone otherwise (or just tell him when he's wrong).

No, that is wrong, 100% wrong. You get the Assault Gun, not the Assault Rifle. In real life, they are completely different weapons; not to mention that there is no "Assault Rifle" in FFVII. If you're referring to the "final Sephiroth" battle, as this was referenced earlier, this is not the case. What you describe is literally impossible, because the predetermined AI scripts force Cloud to counter. This occurs in any and all situations where Omnislash is not selected, be it Defending, Row Changing, or merely hesitating.

Moreover, Counter materia is irrelevant; not only does this always occur regardless of materia placement, one should assume that Cloud bear no materia during that particular battle. This is evident from the fact that his maxHP will be noticeably lower than it had been previously, assuming one had been using an HP Plus materia before.

I'm sorry but the way things are going in this thread are a bit unfair. If someone misses their turn in the hotseat you shouldn't give them the opportunity to jump straight back into it. Chris Tarrant doesn't. They shouldn't be allowed to participate in the next round. Giving other people a chance. Same with if they get a question wrong. If they didn't use a lifeline that's it no second chances. Do it like the show or don't do it at all.

I'm sorry LoM, but this is very unprofessional. You just don't seem to be bothered about this game at all, leading it to die. You constantly hand out easy questions, with the knowledge I have of FF7 I could give easy questions to start of with and progress to relatively hard ones. You obviously don't have the knowledge to do that.

im new here and even i can tell this is a bit of a shambles. its not one persons fault just a majority of things from ppl answering when they shouldnt to judges getting grounded....

EDIT- There seems to be two options

1. As before. one permanent riddlemaster
2. Person in hotseat, becomes next host

Whilst number 2 sounds better it really isnt, the riddles would vary enormously in difficulty and would be very unfair.

Number 1 with a few adjustments. One permanent person who posts, but there should also be 4 or 5 others "the examining board" (also permanent) who would help supply the questions (they get credit for their own questions) and then the one person composes the riddle from their own questions and the others ones too. This way the riddles wouldnt vary in difficulty much at all and the lifelines would be easier (Ask the Audience could be done by PMing the person in charge then after a certain time period (say 12 hours) they post the results and the player makes his decision. I would also like to see a leaderboard, itd be good fun.

of course if youll have me id love to take charge of it. If not, meh its still a good idea and i think its the best way. if you all agree, does anyone want to join the "board"?

I have no problems with it at the mo (because he is fairly regular) but youre right, i was never planning to storm in and hijack the thread (as it wouldnt go down well) and its not fair- however if LoM was doing such a bad job, then i was offering recommendations on how to improve it. or for me to take over with him as a helper with questions.

He just seemed to be a bit lax with the rules and very tolerant giving opponents two or three guesses, but it is his thread.

My answer = Yes. I seem to remember Air Tam Storm doing 1111 damage based on how many materia, so load some low lvl characters with tons of summon materia etc and Air Tam Storm will wipe em all out 1 hit.
Also I suppose if you went into the battle with just 1 character the physical attack would kill you, so definitely my answer = yes.

PS 50 50 removing a wrong answer would have been an effective lifeline there :)

Well wasn't so helpful as DoaJ fairly clearly didn't read my almost identical post and your subsequent reply. Nevertheless, our answers seem perfectly sensible and valid, so the conclusion would perhaps be that the question is rather too vague with different answers possible- it is correct in that 3 forms of Sephiroth in the final battle are indeed Bizarro, Safer and normal at the end. It would be equally valid to include either Sephiroth lvl 50 at Nibelheim and the one you can get through hacking. I think questions are perhaps better if there is clearly only 1 possible answer but it is fairly obscure, requiring knowledge of unimportant sub characters or towns for example.
