Im actually enjoying it, Quite a few errors Ive seen, but still good. Better than FFII ( which the FFX is based on )

If there's an NES version of FFX, I'll eat my hat...

It's all over the internet that a FFX is being made based off FFII Roms. It's one of the most complicated NES emulator hacks to date, but unfortunately, the developers are not releasing an English version yet (but the translation is there for them to use, as long as they don't turn it to Engrish).

So Bomber...
Yeah, make with the hat, amigo.

Oh really? I've never heard of such a thing...

Are there any websites out there that explain?

I'm not 100% sure of any, but there are people on this forum who defintely are. I'd just wait for someone to tell us. Blast away our ignorance, peoples!

Click here. (http://www.geek.com/news/geeknews/2005Oct/bga20051024032886.htm) Google is a wonderful thing.

The original site where the rom was hosted is now gone the way of the ghost. Which I'm not really surprised at at all.

Initially I posted the original links I had saved somewhere, only to find they lead to a defunct site. The site I linked to there is the next best thing.

Oh great, now I've seen everything...

What's next, FF11 for Atari?

Tavrobel
02-19-2006, 01:09 PM
Atari emulators are not that popular. And Atari's didn't have the online capability that other systems had, so an Atari remake for FFXI would be difficult. Not only that MMORPGs consume your life; who of us, provided we even like/play FFXI, would have the time to make a FFXI hack for an Atari game? And what would it be based on?

They don't make NES games anymore...and won't ever again. False story, nice try. Don't be so gullible to believe everything you here or see. It was never and never will be announced and confirmed by Square.

Some talented hackers took the foundations of the FFII ROM and converted it into a version of FFX in the old NES style. It is completely independent of Square.

One question: Where can I get a ENGLISH version?

TheSpoonyBard

They haven't made one, and probably won't. Feel free to have a go at making it yourself.

Did you even bother to read my post? It's on NES Emulators.

You guys obviously didn't see all the GIF animated screens that were on the original site.

I tried the versions that were out a few weeks ago, the one that lets you sail across an endless world map with nothing on it, and one that played the opening fmv. (the music is gorgeous:D)

Oh right, well Im stuck, I've downloaded the second version of FFX for NES because the first one didn't work too good and now this version I've downloaded is kinda bad too, when the intro finishes, it takes me to a screen where I cant do anything except load a previous game someone has already started and I also don't know the buttons, what are they?

That comment board with all the teenagers cussing each other out talking about how bad FFX was is fun.
