gold World Passes

does anyone want to give me a gold world pass when i start out so that we can both get items throughout the game?

i dont have friends that play so i figured id try you guys here...my bday is march 2nd and so then im getting my credit card so i can start playing...i have it all installed and everything already lol...well i hope someone helps...thanks..bye

The only reason you'd want a gold pass is because it's cheaper than the normal world passes. The items aren't worth the effort at all.

And there's very little effort that goes into getting the items. So if you're new to the game, there's no reason not to get the GoldPass.

You can get a normal pass for 2K max for FIVE uses. the Gold is only 1 for !K ;o its all about the items.

Yeah, gold pass is only 1000g, and the normal is usually somewhere between 1700~2000g. And you can only use it once, and only if you've just brought a new copy of the game.

As for it being cheaper, it's kind of debatable. Normal WP is only 400g a use if you get all 5 uses out of it, but like, when was the last time anyone managed to do that on a regular basis?

Yes, but getting a goldpass and getting the items requires very little energy, so I don't see why someone who is new to the game wouldn't want a goldpass rather than a regular pass.

Too many items cluttering up your Mog House. Especially true if you don't use mules. x.X

Also you only get items after 40 days and 100 days. Chances are you won't need a cap to reduce your level to the same as your friends by then anyway.

That's like telling people that they shouldn't do the holiday events because they'll recieve an item that will clutter up their storage space. >_>

Haha it's all fun and games at first with event items and other Ra/Ex crap. Thank god they came up with storage for at least SOME of the event items. Including Ra/Ex gear and the event items that cannot be stored my MH comes to 61/80... 61 Ra/Ex things I can't do a damn thing with but hold on to until the Mog Locker becomes available with the expansion. I can't wait.
