I was thinking about this movie earlier today, for some reason.

I loved it when I was a kid, though I have not seen it since then. Nor have I seen number 2. :( Have you seen Milo and Otis? It is also a very good, and very similar, film.

Milo and Otis is a great film- simply excellent portrayal of life from a cats and dog's perspective.

Regarding why Homeward Bound has different scenes on ABC family, maybe they are showing a special version, extended version, or they have edited the film since it is going to be shown on television.

I used to have a stuffed animal cat named Sassy that looked exactly like her. I watched these movies about 300 times when I was little. Chance ftw. <3

Yeah i like the first one (i didnt even know there was a second), back in the day before they started trying to lip synch talking animals with the use of computers. I like the Homeward Bound style of talking animals better then what they do today.

Alot of times when a movie plays on TV, they will remove scenes for time. Sometimes, though, they will throw in deleted scenes so it will last til a certain time. There is usually no way to buy this version aside from a possible bootleg copy, which I doubt you'll find of Homeward Bound.
