Question about Star ocean 3

Ok, I'm trying to find a game to play out of my collection, SO3 sounds like a good choice, however, I'd like to do it on the higher difficulties to giveit a challenge, is there any way I can achieve those difficulties without actually getting trophys? I only want to play once, not one game of getting trophys, another harder difficulty.

Thanks if anyone has any sort of ideas on how to achieve this.

Possible solutions :

1. Single character
2. Symbols only (VERY hard without a skill-based symbology user)
3. No items
4. Initial Equipment
5. Low Level

Just go look at some of the other game challenges dotted around here and you'll get an indication of how to go about it.
