View Full Version : Ultima Weapon (DoS)?

I read in a walkthrough that you could find this. But it didn't say where to find it. It only gave the stats for it.

I was able to pick up the Ragnorak from Shinryu in the Lifespring Grotto and found it to be more powerful than the masamune.


Anyone know about the Ultima weapon?

It's at the bottom of the totally awesome but annoying 40 floor whisperwind cove. (Tiamat's soul of chaos.)

You have to fight Doom Gaze to get it, but not before fighting the other ffVI bosses :p (He'll take awhile though, I think he had like 60,000 hp or something.)

doom gaze has 35,000 HP but his attacks arent too powerful and you should be able to beat him if you were able to beat shinryu.

im workin on dawn of souls as of now ive gone through earthgift shrine, hellfire chasam and lifespring grotto those bosses were tough but if the right spells there not all that hard but with death gaze (nin strat) he uses like death dispel and scourage but i know for a fact if youre stats are high enough thell all miss but the level itself is a pain you get random platforms and then on top of that the old bosses at the graveyard the only HP ive seen on Death Gaze was 35,000 but he seems easy though....:mad:

If you beat Shinryu, you can beat anything.

Is this from the re-release of ff1??????? I dont remember any whisperwind cove. I think Tiamut was the only badazz I fought and it was toward the end of the game and he was some big robot. But ff6 bosses??? explain plz. Makes me want to go back and play FF1

The extra dungeons are on Dawn of Souls only.
