you might need to do some thing first. look at all of the othe pics a few times. when you examine the picture you should be attacked by enemies and a door should appear, you may need to go somewhere first but im not sure.

I think you have to do the cave on the Veldt first as well, but I'm not 100% sure.

That that applies here. It just changes who you find in the cave on the Veldt.

Yeah, but since you find Relm here, what happens in the end if Relm is on the Veldt? Do you get to fight the demon painting anyway?

Yeah Relm leaves and ends up in Owzers House

If you don't wait for Shadow, Relm is in the cave on the Veldt and if you do wait for Shadow, then he is in the cave. Either way, after you complete the cave then Relm is in Owzer's house regardless of if you waited for Shadow or not. I'm not 100% sure if you have to complete the cave on the Veldt to do Owzer's house, but Relm is always in it.

If any of you remember this sequence of events it goes like this. A. You can wait for shadow on the floating continent.
B. Either way you go to the cave of the veldt and save EITHER Shadow or Relm. C. you take Either to Thamasa and get them taken care of. After this the Owzer's house will sprout pictures to life and you can gain Entry.

Alright, I've saved Relm (i had gone ahead a bit), and i haven't found a place to rest in that house; if i go to owzer's at this point the lights are still on. what am i missing?

You've tried resting in the house in Thamasa, not Owzer's house, right?

Yeah, you just walk through the bed.

And you've resuced Relm/Shadow in the cave on the Veldt?

I had to get Mog, Tritoch, and Umaro, then it was fine. By the way, the lights were still on when I got it to work.
