View Full Version : If you saw a sofa in a McDonalds on Monday... that was me.

Okay, so on Monday, me and a group of friends got together because we had no school, and we had this competition. Basically, you had a list of possible places all around our town, and you had to transport a sofa there (via pick-up truck), then take the sofa, stick it wherever the list said, and take a Polaroid picture of it. Some places included in the middle of a round-a-bout (not themagicroundabout), in a fast food place, in a car wash, a strangers living room, and so on. Basically, it was a fun day of randomness and getting weird looks from unsuspecting citizens.

So, when was the last time you and some friends did something completely random, and what was it? :)

Dude, that's so awesome. :D

Last year, my suitemate came in and woke me up in the middle of the night and asked me if I wanted to go to the beach. It was a Sunday night and I had classes the next day, but I thought "what the hell" and grabbed a bunch of blankets and headed out. Along with 2 of my suitemates we raided a 7/11 and then spent the entire night on the beach at Santa Monica and ate donuts and drank snapple until the sun came out.

It was a freakin' cold night, and I thought we were going to be raped by the scary lurkers who kept walking by. But it was fun. :)

Yeah i'll sometimes go to airport and yell out things. I figured out they don't like the word "bomb". They'll tackle you.

CLASSIC! Post pics! (Of the sofa, not the tackleage....but some mug shots from that'd be nice....)

 Awesome.
I don't think I've ever been involved in any furniture photography of that kind before, or any similar activities, but I must say I am inspired.
Oh, and you have to post pictures. :excited:

That's so great. Only thing to make it better would be to put a scary mannequin on it. :D

Once I sat with Dick and Sean (SuperPhatDick and Cid) on a couch in the back of Dick's truck outside a porn store. Sean pee'd on the McDonalds.

Seriously, we need pictures. :D

I've roly-poly'ed head over heels down both the upwards and downwards escalator-ramps at a shopping mall and I've gone around Auckland City measuring things using a banana. Good times. Nothing quite like going into Sky City, the center of Auckland City, during an evening with loads of people in the city, and then proceeding to the elevator and measuring how many banana-lengths it is from one side of the door to the other. :D

If there's only one person at a bus stop, I usually pick up him/her and drive him/her to his/her destination. I only do this at small routes though, wouldn't want to drive someone all the way to Italy.

Do you want to get raped? Picking up hitchhiker's is dangerous business man.

They're not hitchhikers. They're waiting for the bus. Then they get all happy when they don't have to pay for the bus and get to drive with me instead.

If someone offered me a ride like that, I'd yell "Child Molester!" and run. :(

I don't remember anything really random that I've done lately.

That's brilliant! I've heard of some guys at my college doing random (but fun) stuff like that as part of their project some years ago. But my friends and I don't do random things.

What is "random"? I've undertaken many activities with friends that I would not deem as "random", but perhaps someone else would. I believe their is purpose to most everything that I do.

Whenever I am in a public place, I like to follow *very* closely behind a randomly chosen person and just go wherever they go until either

A. The notice
or
B. They leave....

I used to do stuff like that on a daily basis. I don't anymore though as I'm too lazy :p

C. They turn around and smack you with their purse for being creepy and invading personal space.

Just a thing for all asking for pictures, the earliest would be Sunday, as that's the next time I'll meet up with the friend who has them right now. If I can, I'll get them, scan them, and post them up Sunday night, but I'm not guaranteeing anything.

Helped a couple friends set up a huge tent in a college dorm hallway once. In order to go down the hallway people had to go through the tent.

Once back when I was fourteen me and two of my friends, Brad and Josh, went to Disneyland and went on every ride and made sure we took pics right when it said "No flash photography permitted". I remember the best one was of C3PO on Star Tours since you're all in a relatively small room and when the flash happens you have nothing but young children and old ladies turned around staring at you.

I Walked into Colchester with a friend one day, a four mile trip each way, then that night we did it again, just walking around town shouting at lamposts and each other as the clock struck midnight. that was fun. But my legs hurt after walking all that way.
