Last Thursday, I was shocked to see FFIV Advance for sale already...I thought it would take forever like it usually does....

I was going to get it, but as I had already played it on an emulator (Just couldnt wait any longer for it to come out in PAL format) I got a PSP game instead...

Anyway, I noticed something annoying, but something I expected...PAL doesnt get the special GBA Micro faceplate...I dont know if the US did get it or not, but I really wanted that..

Im getting the game this Thursday...

I think the special faceplate was a Japan-only bonus.

GBA's are only twenty. The odd thing is I think they trade for 10 XD. I hand them $10 and my GBA and get a new, not messed up GBA.

I didnt bother much with stuff in the ROM, but im defintly going to go hard out with this...

So the faceplate wasnt released in US? Guess they changed their minds...

Also, the Micro > the SP in most ways

It is

Smurf that. Why don't they understand that people love Amano designs even outside of Japan?

Probably not enough of them do to warrant releasing it outside of Japan.

Still, it'd be a neat bonus.

GBA Micro Faceplates scratch too easily..you need a put a screen protector on it as son as you get it..it would be a shame to get that special one scratched..

Sorry for the double post, but I found something interesting about the boxart, now that I have it...

PAL seems to have received the american box art...when all FF games released in PAL territories so far that im aware of, have the classic white background with a centred logo...also, the instruction booklet and cartridge had the "white with logo" design...

I dont know about the american version's cartridge or booklet though

Anyway, the game itself is amazing on a GBA Micro..the graphics are so much sharper, it seems like an update to the graphics...
