Does FF:XI have a free trial option? since i'm interested in buying but i wanna have a trial first.

There's a demo for the Xbox 360, I think. Not sure about the PC version.

Well, there IS a demo for the PC version, but it's not quite what you might think it'd be. It's the benchmark program that runs the FFXI engine and allows you to see whether your PC will be able to run XI properly. Check it out: http://www.finalfantasyxionline.com/content/finalfantasyxi-demo.php

When you buy FFXI the first month's free. After that you have to pay.

You have to make sure you cancel at the correct time, or you'll be charged a small fee.

If you don't pay, like ever, they shut down your account after three months. So you could have 3 months free. Don't ask me how I know this. :cool:

The Xbox 360 demo you speak of is actually the Beta, and that'll end pretty soon.

Also there was an actual trial version (not the benchmark, that isn't even considered a trial), but you had to buy certain sponsered products to get the code to download it.
