how do i get ff11 to run better

Try this:

Turn OFF shadows
Turn OFF weather effects

turn off unnecessary text. etc. etc.

i have nvidia geforce go5200, its 32mb and when i played before i reformatted my hard drive, and now it runs crappy, what i experiance is it will slow down and and then run in fast forward for a split second or two

What's the minimum requirement for a graphics card? 64mb? That could be the problem. Also try installing newer drivers from the manufacters website.

i mean it used to run fine before i restarted my pc, and it doesn't have any problems when i first start playing, its like only 5 minutes in to the game that it shows up
