The Last Oath

hey everyone. This is a forum on who would win. After we've decided who would win (someone gets out voted or we just decide to move on) someone else can make one up so i'll start it.(Oh yeh please dont do cloud vs squall because that is the ALL TIME draw)

The fighters can be anyone from people to gfs.

Bahamut vs Odin

I rekon bahamut would win with his mega flare and flying advantage although odin can use zantetusken. But...Odin was beaten by Seifer...

Tough one. I don't think Bahamut can be vengesworded. And Odin doesn't have his Grunge lance in FFVIII. But even with that, i'd still put my money on Odin.

You can't base your arguement for who would win by which one is cooler or who is your favorite.

And who says I can't? I bet lots of people chose their favorite one, and as The Last Oath also stated, Odin was defeated by Seifer so Bahamut is probably stronger anyway. Also, Bahamut is THE KING OF DRAGONS!!! :kaohappy2 There, I gave 2 valid reasons so you can leave me alone now. :D

Lets see all this in a full status check

http://www.ffcompendium.com/h/titles/bahamut.gif

The black-scaled King of Dragons is nearly always one of the most powerful summons. His primary attack, "Mega Flare", does non-elemental damage. Generally, he is one of the most difficult monsters to beat in order to get him to join you. In FF1, he appeared as a non-summonable character, who upgraded your class if you gave him the Rat's Tail item. In FF4, he was the God of Summons. In FF7, he had three different forms: Bahamut looked similar to his previous incarnations; Neo Bahamut was red with four wings; Bahamut ZERO was silvery-black, had six wings, and launched a humongous attack from space

ATTACKS:

Mega Flare (ff's)
Sun Flare (ff6)
Giga Flare (ff7, Bahamut Neo)
Terra Flare (ff7, Bahamut Zero)
Impulse (ff10)
Black Magic (ff10)

http://www.ffcompendium.com/h/titles/odin.gif

An ancient king who wears an antlered helmet and rides a horse. After FF4, his steed changes to a six-legged horse named Sleipnir, who also appeared in FF3 as a regular enemy. He has two weapons which are related to his attacks. His main attack is a sword which slices the enemy in half, often known as the "Zantetsuken" or "Steel-Bladed Sword", for an instant kill. If the enemy can't be killed in one hit, such as a boss, he uses his Gungnir Lance for damage (the lance only appeared in FF5 and FF7). In FF6, Odin was upgradable to Raiden, whose "True Edge" attack had a higher success rate than Odin's "Atom Edge". In FF4, Odin was the king of Baron, killed by Cagnazzo, whose spirit still lived in one of the castle's towers. In FF8, Odin wasn't controllable, but appeared randomly at the beginning of battles for an easy victory. In FF9, the "Odin's Sword" accessory allowed him to deal damage if he couldn't kill an enemy, but without using the Gungnir.

ATTACKS:

Sword Cut (ff3)
Barrier (ff3)
Atom Edge/Zantetsuken (Steel Bladed Sword) ~literally translated (ff3)
Gungir/Gunge Lance (ff5/7)
True Edge (ff6)
Brit Silver (ff11)
Destroy Black (ff11)
Steel Gray (ff11)

Let the battle now begin!

Angel wing chill out. Its ok to say you would prefer for your favorite to win, but you can't base an arguement on that (well alright, as you already stated, you can. But it's a pretty /xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gifty arguement)

Sephiroths cage has the right idea. The problem with going into the seperate games is, the damage level.

For example, Odin in FFVII does very little damage whearas Bahamut in FFVII deals an almost garanteed 9999HP damage. But in FFV Bahamut only inflicts an average of 3500HP damage whearas Odin in FFV easily reaches over 4000HP damage with his lance.

I understand, but I DID put a valid arguement in my 2nd post, so let's drop this.

Fair play dude.

Another FF related showdown?

How about the almighty Cactaur in a fight to the death with the incredable Tonberry?

cactaur can be pretty strong when summoneed but i think tonberry would win :tonberry:

Depends if Tonberry has more than 10,000 HP because that's the maximum Cactaur can inflict. The depends if Cactaur can be killed with instant death attacks like Chefs knife.

If yes to both cases, depends who is faster :)
