I perfer thier older stuff, it was heavier. Not that I think all bands should be heavy, I like softer music to. But Slipknot is known for it... they are much better when they are all out ThRASH.

I saw this thread and started laughing.

I have had this misfortune of seeing them in concert(opening band for Coal Chamber) and I thought they sucked...but not because I didn't like their music. I just think their whole act is laughable.

And the lead singer looked like a Sandman from Star Wars.

Yeah, I saw them once myself at a big concert with multiple stages and all that. It was before I'd heard of them and I thought it was a joke.

What botheres me the most is their attitude, I think they're really one big joke, and the way they try and intimidate other people is just retarded.

I've seen their acts before...and dear god. You realize that about 3 of the guys don't actaully do anything. I just saw them jump onto a trash can and beat it with a stick...WTF!? Also, the singing sounds like someone has grabbed a frog, shoved it down the lead singers mouth, and he's desperately trying to cough it up.

Wait and Bleed is the only song i like from them, for the rest: the whole band/anonymous/mask thing: a fucking gimmick that annoyed me like hell.:mad: But they do have a great guitarist, a good drummer, and i like the voice of Corey Taylor:D ; that's why i like Stone Sour a bit more than Slipknot:rolleyes2 .
