So the other one was about melting or freezing.

This one has to do with drowning or burning.

Would you rather be inside of a burning down home and burn or would you rather drown in the sea/lake/ocean,etc?

Being burned would hurt a lot and you suffer due to smoke and the fire.

Drowning would probably make your lungs explode and you suffer greatly also.

Which will it be?

Drown, but I really dont want either. Burning would be pretty bad....

I would hate either.

Drowning would put you in much more panic than burning would imo.

I heard (probabley a load of codswallop) that you feel a moment of pure bliss before you die from drowning. Now that ive typed that ive realised how stupid it sounds.

Id wanna burn!!!!!!!!!! but i dont fancy that smoke much. That'd be kinda like drowning

burning reasons
1 u might survive
2 i have a fear of drowning (but i love to swim  )
3 drowning is like staring death in the face it is as if you are lookig a 50 cal down the barrel and a mad man is holding the gun
4i love fires hehe:tongue:

so i would have to say burning:greenie:

ummm I would rather drown because if someone happened to save you in a fire or from drowning then you have a better chance of living without injury after drowning then being caught on fire! :D

Assuming you meant burning to death, I'd have to say drowning. It's got to be less painful than burning.

I would rather drown seeing as how there is a greater chance of me getting myself out of that situation sense I know how to swim...than again my dad's a fire figheter so that might come in handy...hmmm.

But your lungs explode in drowning and you suffocate. With burning you can just inhale the smoke go unconcious and die without feeling (much) pain....right?

true but not evveryone passes out that easy, imagine just 60seconds of being torched by searing flames, melting your skin burning your hair and face, sounds more painful to me,when drowning just hurts your lungs not your whole body.

My personal preference of death would be decapitation.. but since that is no a choice... I would rather drown.. besides the fact the lungs would explode.. the lack of oxygen would knock you unconcious so you wouldn't feel your lungs crashing.

burning, definitely burning. Drowning is slow, and you are awake for a lot of it. One of the scariest ways to die, IMHO, is by drowning/suffocating, because it happens slowly, and you can feel yourself dying.

What heat of fire we talking about here? Temperature will affect speed of death.

I would rather drown because I might turn into a mermaid. and then i might start singing about being part of the human world, and then a handsome prince might come and save me. hooray!

What heat of fire we talking about here? Temperature will affect speed of death. It doesn't really matter, a burning building is a burning building.

I'd choose drowning because there's a greater chance you could find a way out than in a burning building with all the supports collapsing and such. Also you wouldn't be on fire.

I'd rather drown. Even though that's one of my biggest fears, I think it might be a little bit better than being on fire for who knows how long. That sounds more painful. :)

You're not going to survive. This is a thread about how you would rather die. sheesh.

Anyway, both of these ways to die is by suffocating. The lack of oxygen in the burning house will probably kill you, or at least make you unconscious, before you burn all that much. I believe this to be less painfull way. :p Drowning is just mean.

If i was in a burning building, i would much rather run into direct flames and burn than be suffocated by lack of oxygen or smoke. Not being able to breath is worse for me than my skin melting away......though i don't fancy that much either o_0

drowning seems more peaceful, it doesnt have all the chaos that being trapped in a fire has. plus, its not as loud. even though it seems scarier. =/

Depending on what kind of Fire it is, You could drown in the smoke, much like you would in the water, then burn to (In the words of Cloud Strife) "Crispy Critters in an Instant"

Personally I would go with drowning.

We are made of 75% water...and still we wish to die in it.

Tavrobel

In this case, I'd probably go with burning, but drowning makes you panic, before you realize that you are not longer panicked... but dead. Unlike fire, which you feel every agonizing moment, until death, rather than the sure chance that you pass out. Fire wouldn't have a 100% guarantee on unconciousness.

And temperature does matter. If it were only 60 degrees Celsius, then you would die rather slowly. If it were 90l, you die much faster. The faster you fry your nerves off, the faster you don't feel anything.

Last I checked that 75% of water isn't filling up your lungs or cutting off your oxygen supply.
