what are your favorite characters from top to bottom?

my favorite characters:

1) umaro- the only berserker character in any ff game that actually is useful..this guy kicks mayor ass

2) cyan - samurais avenging their families lives always have a high spot in any adventure

3) Sabin - this guy should show have his own place in street fighter. he would kick ryu's ass

4) Shadow and interceptor - ninja and dog, mysterious background, nough said. galford eat your heart out

5) Terra - always nice to use a supersaiyan

6) Edgar - cool character and good weapons

7) Mog - surprisingly it gives me much pleasure to use this guy and his dances are very useful attacks

8) Celes - love using her against magic enemies

9) Locke - very cool character, good storyline, doesnt pack a punch but great to stack up that inventory with the mug ability.

10) Strago - the lore magic is way too confusing

11) Setzer - Cool hair. hardly ever use him though. I go broke whenever I go to vegas so i guess setzer gives me bad vibes

12) Realm - almost completely useless, but at least shes good with magic

13) Gau - completely useless

14) Gogo - powerful in battle but no personality..doesnt interest me

What about Setzer and locke?

1) Setzer- Cool personality not a bad fighter
2) Shadow- Useful in the final battle where I can throw away anything I want
3) Relm- High magic power
4) Sabin- Bum rush rocks and before I get bum rush Fire Dance is very useful with random encounters
5) Cyan- I like swords
6) Edgar- Nothing cooler than a king with a chain saw
7) Celes- Magic user army general and a singer, what more could you want
8) Mog- He's can equip the moogle charm and hes a dancer.
9) Terra- Green hair, good with magic
10) Locke- Great storyline but not very useful to me in battle
11) Gau- good for comic relief but I cant be bothered to train him rages
12) Gogo- Useful if i cant be bothered to learn magic but I dont use him/her alot
13) Umaro- Strong but i dont like not having control
14) Strago- Cant be bothered to find lores but he's got an okay story

Hes your number 1 character? Well considering u put umaro in the bottom of the list i can see we have very different tastes but why Setzer over Cyan and Sabin?

I chose Setzer over the rest because he can be placed in the back row with no effect to his attack he can use fixed dice and if you give him the offering+genji glove he can use them several times in a row, I like this becuase the dice can deal major damage setzer doesnt have to be trained alot do deal alot of damage he could do over 9999 damage on one move at level 40 whilst the other characthers have to use their special attacks to do so, he's the lazy gamers dream:D

Wow, none of you put locke at the top, a layed back theif, with quite a background,, and to me one of the most useful in battle, hes the best EASY!

There, that's my order. Actually, it's mainly Cyan, Sabin, and Edgar, then my fourth character rotates out, Shadow, Locke, Mog, or Gogo are usually the replacements, but that's because I'm not a magic person.... I do like Celes though, even though I rarely use her

My favorites from favorite to least favorite.

[Lynx]

locke- so cool awesome background and personality
mog- this guy cracks me up. hes a slam danceing moogle
shadow- so cold hearted but yet he has a dog that loves to run in and attack
gogo- merit awars equip him with just about anything and use everyones special attacks
celes- runic is very useful
sabin- i love blitz and his bad ass attitude
edgar- nothing funnier then a guy who thinks hes a ladys man. also tool is very useful.
setzer- airhsip pilot and alsoe he can throw cards and make it hurt
terra- morphing how cool is that its plain awesome even though i didnt like what her esper form looked like
cyan- special is cool but takes forever to use the higher ones
umaro- abominal snowman on your team thas pretty cool
strago- weak i hate lore
gau- not funny just annoying i did use him to defeat kefka once though
relm- she has no purpose for me

I had a hard time putting my first few favorites in order, since I like them all pretty much the same. They have their assets in battle, and they have interesting personalities and backstories. After Sabin, though, the character list starts to go downhill.
