I read in KHInsider and Wikipedia, that the release date of the European Kingdom Hearts II will be in October 2006.
Though it's not confirmed yet, do you really think this will be the release date?
With the first game it only took them two months to release the European, and now they take such a long time?

I saw this but I'm not to sure I believe it. All the other games square release has been only roughly 3-4 months from US to EU at the VERY longest. besides that, i think that was what was wrote in a dutch (or other languaged) magazine. It hasn't been confired by square either. It's probably just a date they put in the magazine to keep the fans happy or something.

You won't be able to play it on your PS2 because the USA release is NTSC formatted whilst European machines take PAL format. So like said by previous posters you would have to get your PS2 modded to be able to play the US release on a European consol.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Stop braggin'. Its going to come out this month and our fellow Eu's will get to see screen on youtube if they are that eager. although probably most of us are! :D

Im not surprised, these things happen to us. Fortunately Ill be importing the game so Ill have it only a few days after the American release. Awesome !

I know me too. www.play.com says 28th of April. I haven't heard of a real one though. Its sooooo annoying!

I doubt it will be available. They are always sold out due to me not getting there in time or (the most common one) people pre order the game first.

Well, as I can see no one really heard any news about the PAL release.
If it will take that much time I'll just get the NTSC version on my cheaped PS2...

And stop get off-topic, I know USA gets the games earlier but we sometimes get some extras for waiting.
Like not censored games, like Fahrenheit, or some extra stuff in the game, like FFX, and so on...

Well if you are planning on getting when it comes out then why not go ahead and pre-order it?

You got FFX:International because of the exceptionally long time you guys had to wait. They had already released the international version in Japan before they had sorted out their problems in Europe and started making the game for Europe, which is why you got the international version. And, given how full the game disc is for KHII, I doubt we'll get extras let alone you guys. Nomura is saying that they might not make a KHII:Final Mix simply because there isn't enough room on the disc (not the only reason, but a reason).
