Out of any system you have ever played, what is the best controler? My personal favorite was the Game cube controler, the most used button in Nintendo is conviniently placed at your finger tips. Brilliant.

Only choose up too two controlers please.

Edit: Forgot Gamecube, can an amin fix that?

PSone the white one, looks cool, but i voted for Xbox 360 because it is such a vast improvement than the ugly bulcky xbox one, where ps have kept teh same until ps3, but it is one good controller!

Best controller EVER? I'd have to go with the Sega Saturn controller. Best D-Pad in an joypad that has ever been made. 2D beat-ups were vastly more enjoyable on that machine than any console since. And the analogue version, simply for being the first ever analogue controller. "Nights" alone justifies it's existance. :D

The GameCube controller is also a funky little thing. Very smartly designed, though it feels a little flimsy to hold.

Actually the first analouge controller was for the Mega Drive and only sold in Japan.

But NiGHTS was pretty awesome.

The Dual Shock is the greatest innovation in controllers. It's very comfortable and snug in your hands, the sticks are easy to get to and move around.

More recently, games have been embracing use of the right analog which can be disruptive as it forces your right hand to do a lot of multi-tasking. It takes a while to get used to for FPS in particular.

My second vote went to N64. It's different, it's funky and it worked.

Ive always felt more comfy with the PS1/2 and Sega Master System control pads. The Xbox one is too bulky for me and the Gamecube is uncomfy for me.

For comfort, the GameCube. But for actual usability and button layout/design, the Xbox 360 is virtually perfect.

The N64 controller is perfectly functional, but the third handle was just unnecessary. And since ninety-nine percent of the games don't use the Directional Pad on the left side, you're usually holding the controller by the middle and right handles, which feels unbalanced at times.

The GameCube Controller is my favorite, followed by the PS2 Dual Shock. Gotta love 'em. ;)

Anyways, I'd easily say PS controllers are the best, bar none. Xbox, Gamecube, N64, etc. They're all trash quite frankly. Personally I'm dreading the Revolution's controller.

I love the Dualshocks and Gamecube controllers equally. They are my favorites. :D

I liked the PS1/2's controller, and SNES' controller. I'm usually not too picky, but when I first saw the XBox's controller, I freaked. I guess I just wasn't used to it...:cat: (All the buttons..)

Yeah, N64's third thing is kinda useless.

I only had a Sega Genesis, that controller was okay.

NES' controller is nice and simple. Well, it was made awhile ago, so...

werd. I agree on this one. The dream cast had all the extensable options and was just a dandy fit, while the PS2 is just... nearly perfect.

I think the 360 controller is probably the most comfortable and functional controller I've ever used. It's great! I also like the Snes controller, which was excellent for those pre-analog days.

I voted for the xbox controller because I have large hands. the ps2 controller is really good but not as comfortable for me.
The worst? N64 hands down

I've always found the PS controller to be the most comfortable. It fits in my hands nicely. The X-box controller is to big IMO.

I guess it's a tie between the Gamecube and the SNES. Both feel perfect for me.

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards used the third handle on the N64 controller. I don't think I know of a single other game that does.

Madcatz controlers are a complete joke, they break down very fast.

Most 3rd party controllers are pretty shoddy... the only exception I can think of are the Logitech ones...
