I agree with Yuna_wannabe...Lord Rin was just...creepy. And I hated Sphere Break...I could never win. I feel extremely pathetic.

Also, he's a real ass with the whole Mi'hen incident in chapter 5 (i think it was...or maybe chapter 4.) if you pin him as the culprit for all the screw ups with the machina.

im not being unfairly horrible to the game when i say this and im not a pointless FFX-2 hater who would hate it even if it was a good game but compared to other FFs all of the characters are annoying(apart from auron and jecht but their only voices near the end of the game.and maybe a few others.).i know the battle system is quite good but the characters in this game are mostly pointless and not at all interesting. there is no serious storyline to the game which makes it hard for the characters to show any decent drama or suprising interesting scenes which is one of the main reason i like the FF series more than any other game.

They are the use of the character. you can't blame them, they involve in storyline even a little. This is SquareSoft choice, it is their right, we have no right to interfere, just be happy that you can play FFX-2.

I didn't really like X-2 much so I'm biased but I'll say Rikku. She was just pathetically, ridicoulsly annoying. They should have done Yuna, Paine and then come up with another new character too. Oh and also have made the Crimson Squad thing the main story instead of a optional sidestory, but thats another question, another thread.

I don't hate Rikku, she's one of my favourite but I also like Yuna and Lulu. I can also say if you hate that characters, then you should just leave the game or do not even play it, SquareSoft put that character on because there is a use. Paine is cooler than Rikku and involve in the storyline a lot. I like Clasko, he have the same feeling of animal like me, He like animal like me, he also love chocobos like me although Guado isn't exactly my favourite.............

What do you mean "shouldnt have beein in FFX-2"? Isnt it good to have all the characters in instead of leaving them out and making the game less interesting to play, the more characters ingame, the better I think simply because interacting with them gives you a new experience for example, when you talk to Paine, she oftens gives a macho taking no crap image whereas if you speak to Brother, he gives off a desperate Al Bhed in love with Yuna image etc.
