Best FF Side Quest?

The second half of Final Fantasy VI.

[The Last Oath]

The card side-quest in FFVIII and FFVII condor battles the 1st time before you go to junon.

Aquiring summons, specifically ones you have to fight

Yeah FFVI is like the king of side quests, considering the second half of the game is one huge sidequest before the final mission (Unless you are 120% hardcore and beat the game with just celes, edgar, and setzer)

other Sidequests I found fun, in no particular order:

The Hot&Cold Chocobo Games in IX were fun imo, I'm sure alot of people found it annoying. I also liked Chocobo Breeding in VII. Chocobo sidegame in VIII I didnt like that much though.

In FFX, some of the things you had to do to get Ultimate Weapons were fun. NOT The Lightning Dodging though! Whoever thought that up has my utmost hatred.

I loved Triple Triad so much. Tetra Master was fun as well, but if I had a choice of an online Triple Triad or Tetra Master, I'd have gone with Triple Triad.
