Not exactly, I originally was going to put this up as a poll but I don't know what happen witht that...freakin' technology. Those are genres (except mainstream), but the point of the thread was asking what type of gamer people were. For instance let's say this guy name Bob likes rpg's (rpg genre) then he would be an rpger. Get it? Got it? Good.

I would say RPG and Adventure/Puzzle games although I wouldnt label myself as a gamer but I mostly play games like Final Fantasy, Resident Evil and Broken Sword.

rpgs/ i collect every thing in the game and raise my charcters to the highest lv. (u should see my pokemon and ff games)

tactics/ strategy/ Im super good at these and love advance wars and fire emblem(by the way i have all the AW games but don't have the sacred stonesis it good.)

fighting/ beat em up/ im not so hot in these games compared to a friend of mind but this is where i basiclly drooled over games (mortal kombat is the game responsible for sucking me in and street fighter is the one that made me really into games)

adventure/these game i play through and through until i go to every single place (zelda)

platforming/mostly play these because their simple and fun and give u a nostalgic feelings

old school/ like to play these since there what started it all i mostly own these and im pretty young(there a pain in the neck to get though

story/ any game with an awesome story and gameplay will drag me in as long its not too outthere(i don't really care much about the graphics)

dude you are right i didn't really thionk taht Zelda a action/ rpg but then again its a real time game huh.........even though aren't the tweaks a little minor for it to be called a rpg.
