I think Cloud's basis on the movie was the wolf (Though I still agree with the interpretations of Zack being the wolf or any other theory) I mean the wolf insignia reflects Cloud's valour, depression, courage, reality and love. He is a wolf ready with his fangs to face any adversity or condition.
What does everyone else think?
