So, how many here aren't used to it being 2006 yet?

I was just looking at a thread that was closed and couldn't figure out why it was closed due to being old. It was only two weeks old. Then I looked at the data closer and realized that it's one year and two weeks old, as this is 2006, not 2005. Maybe I like my years rounded to fives, who knows.

I'm okay with remembering that it's 2006. But it just doesn't feel like a new year to me. I don't know why...
Maybe it was the lack of fireworks to bring in the new year? :excited:

Ive forgotten a few times its 2006 when Ive been writing down the date. An it wasn't that long ago it was my birthday, so I keep forgetting I'm not 18 anymore. So recently ive filled out forms with both my age an the year wrong on them. An this year seems like it is going really fast.

I don't have a problem with remembering the year, I did in January though.

I agree with Anaisa - I can't believe it's March already! :O

If you're having problems knowing what year it is three months into it then...

You mean grammar? Actually I'm not. Although if by grammar you mean punctuation, then I fully agree with you.

You're taking this the wrong way completely

Yeah, that thread confused me too, FM. Dates are always a bit of a problem for the first few months of the year, although for some reason it hasn't been so bad this year.

That's convincing enough. Our new God.... instead of that other guy. All he did was talk about fruit cocktails and the problems with sand.

I'm pretty much used to 2006, but I still think I've just started my school year, even though it's almost finished. I like being a thirdy...

It's a special year. This is the year where in July the date will be 6/6/06. What a date.

I'd say it takes me about a month and a half or two months to get the new year engrained in my mind.
