Please, I have seen countless topics in the FF section which can probably generate less discussion then anything else on here. If we have these, and moderators watching the section properly, we will be free of spam.

Man, let's just get rid of all threads, huh?
This is the part where the thread gets closed by a mod along with a witty remark that turns the topic back around on the creator. Yeah, I've seen it before. Didn't mean to spoil it.

We can't make an FAQ for the entire game. If someone is stuck they ask what to do, and then they figure it out. That's the whole point of an FF messege board in the first place. Game help.

No, we should make a FAQ for the entire game. With pictures.

I'm sure megaelixer would appreciate it.

nobody wants to read through those big long threads, and besides people tend to give incorrect information in those and its much harder to refute falsehoods when they are buried in a fifty post thread than if it's a thread specific to one question.

Actually, if the first post contains link to various problems/questions as they are brought up, that thread could work as an encyclopedia. The thread starter just has to be a busy bee. OMG, we can alphabetize it.

Yeah, you know, someone creates a thread saying blah blah, and it can get answered in one reply?
If we create a sticky, maybe we could post links to Guides, links to getting certain items etc on the first page, and keep updating the first page if we get new info or if someone asks for something.
Just an idea to stop it from becoming a long stupid ass thread. Shouldnt take too much work if everyone helps out

What if people want to discuss that aspect of the game? I agree it shouldn't get much activity after the question is answered, but I don't think that is a reason to ban all those threads.

Have you seen the type of discussion sometimes that follows? Maybe we should create a Q+A discussion thread. Some of the after discussion is very lame IMO.
~Setzer Gabianni
Or y'know, you could just stay away from these threads if you find them so pointless, which is a lot easier for everyone. Just 'cause you don't like what people are discussing is no reason for all of these threads to be banned. Those involved in it obviously see something in it and if the staff don't like it, they'd close it.

Or you can report them so they may be evaluated for closure.

Fine. I'll guess I'll just do that then. Just thought it would make things a little bit tidier. *sighs*

Psy, don't consult this child with your twisted wisdom. You're just trying to get into their pants anyways.
oh yea, this was not a good idea.
A Q&A thread would suck. You ask a question and nobody responds to you specifically, and you keep coming back to check and eventually there's 100 posts and its a mess to check through and you still may never get your answer. At least when you make a thread asking a simple question. You only have to look at that thread for your possible answer.
