Who saw it? What does everyone think? This is one of my favorite Broadway musicals of all time, and I think Chris Columbus did a good job with the transition to a new medium.

It's not for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very moving.

I cried. I admit it.

I cried during the movie. Then, I watched the documentary about Jonathan Larson on the DVD and cried again.

Best musical I've seen. I'd never seen the stage show, but I have the soundtrack (which tells the entire story in order anyway), so I knew the story inside out before I saw the movie, and must say I wasn't let down by Columbus' effort. The only slightly annoying thing was the way they changed the order of events in the movie.

Yeah, it was momentarily confusing...

True, but it still worked out IMHO.

I saw 2 versions of the play on the internet, but I haven't been able to see any plays live lately. However, I did see the movie 7 times.

It's an amazing movie, but that might be because my girlfriend (a drama student) makes me (a science student) watch it everytime we're together.

And I must say a few of the songs are quite catchey.
