Since its been gone, there hasnt really been any discussion on World events. No threads, nothing. I know it was meant to be combined with Eyes on Each Other, but I think most are just given the impression that its gone and theres no place to post ( Very ) Important Discussons :)

That's their problem. No one is stopping anyone from making threads about world events.

The solution to that would be to start making those sorts of threads yourself, and the rest of the forum will follow if they're interested.

I'd make those sorts of threads, but the mods, with their raving liberal agenda, seem to have a problem with people who make political posts with a different opinion to their own (aka, conservative).

Nah, we just have a problem with those who make fun of others.

Anyway, lack of political threads was kind of the point of removing it. For some reason people can't discuss politics without being rude and insensitive.

And how does this help anything? It doesn't. I think the world event s forum was made with good intentions but got lost in a black hole of poopness. I'm glad it's gone.

Seriously though, the only useful function of EoTW was to laugh at Cloud No. 9. Now that he's gone, it just can't be around anymore. It'll just bring back too many lost memories of "GIVE ALL UR LIEFSAVINS 2 NIGER!!!" :(

I say it shouldn't be brought back, because all it was was complaining about what everyone hates, not what's really going on, as many points in EoEO were very biased and the truth was often stretched to support one's opinion. Besides, all it boiled down to was a bitchfest at/about President Bush.

I could agree. I learned quite a lot from that forum, and it really kept me comming back. So yeah, I completley agree. Though - I did not keep a straight fasce through that.

If it was brougt back, prehaps less moderation and fist stomping would be a good thing? Not none, just less. Or you could mod rastilin and watch hell break loose with a Liberalist Oppressor in action ;)
