I'm quite sure he's not a vampire....could be wrong though. I'm pretty sure he's in the state he's in because of all the experiments he went through....

Vincent being a vampire is a common rumor because of the fact that he's found resting in a coffin, and he has that vampire-esque gothic style. But no, he is not a vampire.

Vincent's "vampirosity" is spread by internet roleplayers, so don't believe 'em. The coffin is the only tie to him and that image, if you ask me.

My theory is that the experimentation stopped him aging, and because he was upset at letting Hojo experiemnt on Lucrecia he locked himself in the coffin as his 'punishment'.

He's not.Just becuase he turns into monsters dosen't mean he's a vampire.

That's fact, actually. Thanks to DoC, a lot more information about Vincent is known and/or confirmed. He cannot age, and he chose to take on this 'sleep' as his punishment. Hojo experimented on him quite heavily before this.
