The worst anime ever is inyuyasha, its inyuyasha and his friends looking for the jewel shard over and over again and then eventually losing the jewel shard and looking for it again, its so stupid.

Yeah.. Haibane Renmei just seemed to lack substance for me, I got the first 4 episodes or what not, and it didn't really have anything that kept me wanting to watch it, although I do love the art for it. :D
But as for other Anime's.... I never liked Inuyasha. The only anime's I ever did want to watch on my own free will have been FMA, Paranoia Agent, and Evangelion. I like shows that have issues. =]

Same here, love that anime so much :D Always wanted to play the arcade games, but there werent released in the UK sadly.

I am downloading Cowboy Bebop and so far I am not into it too much. It is not because it is a bad anime, it is just not my cup of tea.
God I adore this anime so much, wicked OST, ace characters and a fun storyline. Plus the movie was excellent.

For all the raves and praises and demands to see it I had thrown in my face over it, I'd have to say Neon Genesis Evangelion, even though Neon Genesis Evangelion is not a bad anime (and worth sitting through just to see The End of Evangelion alone). It's just terrible in comparison to all the praise it gets.

The single worst series I can remember sitting through and afterward saying "I want my wasted time back" would have to be Steel Angel Kurumi 2.0. That series was such crap, and especially made me mad after the first Steel Angel Kurumi was such a lovable series.

Based on the ideals of using religious propaganda in a government already corrurpted by power. It did have it's kiddish times, but I have yet to see an anime that would go off about compressing the oxygen in the air to create a spark with a hydrogen atom to create a blast.

Most anime does have that humorous aspect, and while a lot of people enjoy it it can get old. Be that as it may I find FMA to be on the whole an excellent anime with a great deal of good plot behind it.

As far as worst anime, let's see... we were watching an anime awhile back for the ADV Advocates (they send us a free DVD with a few episodes and a crapload of trailers every month) and while the anime appeared to have some sort of plot, it was hard to focus on the plot because they completely overdid the breasts. There were way too many females in the area and all of the females had breasts that were impossibly large, even by the standards of many anime. They also jiggled unrealistically and grotesquely whenever they moved.

So yes. That was bad.

i wish they would play the japanese version of naruto in english and no dubbing just to make it for children -.- i was really dissapionted with it when it came out.

I don't watch the Naruto dubs anymore, if only because Sakura is -still- as annoying as she was when she was a japanese voice, and because Sasuke sounds like a 20 year old.. which brings up the question... Is itachi going to sound obscenely old, or will they try to even the voice acting out to make him sound his age... but if they did that, then 20 year old Sasuke voice would be older.

FMA didn't become a crazy thing until halfway through the first season, I am a fan-girl, but I like it for the intelligent reasons. xD Like the fact they use actual alchemic symbols used when alchemic theorys were created by Gerber (Jirbir?) so I have to naturally appreciate an anime that uses actual historical ideals and keeps to fact (or semi-fact. u u; ).
Oh! And you should go on Cosplay.com.. Some times they get the Narutards together and take pictures of them in large rooms, so it's like 300 Narutards in a room at one single con in one day. Not to mention there were prolly one's out of cosplay. It's amazing the insanity of trends.

And up above someone asked if I hated Lupin...and yes I do, I didn't find it funny or interesting. As for trigun, I also found that unfunny and uninteresting and quit watching after episode 5 or 6.

I do /hate/ lupin, but I appreciate what it did for anime.

Too many characters puts me off instantly, its not always a good thing. Its a pain to remember whose who when your going back and forth to the series. I do this cause I cant watch loads of anime in a day cause I have other things to do. So I go for awhile without viewing any and if the series has lots of characters and background stories to remember, I just leave it.

The series could have been shorter and still have been dramatic. Hellsing ran for 13 episodes and was very dramatic and covered alot of ground in just 13 25 minute episodes.

Oh dear. Have to go Anti-FMA on this one, for reasons of... I'm not going to let my love for it blind me from saying this.
The story line didn't pick up until around episode 38-ish. Seeing as there are 51 episodes, it would have been fine with 12 episodes, I was getting bored with it, until it started to get dramatic and pick up. It went from the same thing, to the same thing with an actual background behind it.
I would rather watch the last episodes than the first one's any day.
They hold more of an intrest to me.

I've given it many chances, but I just can't seem to find out why people like it. I've had more fun watching Beyblade than I did watching .hack.

Well, the first Ghost in the Shell movie is one of my favorites (nostalgic (just like with Kenshin): i first saw it when i was 12, so^^). The thing about it though is the huge difference between the comic and the cartoons, though (humor:p ), but might i ask, what didn't you like about it? ^_^
