Anyone have any good memorys of the system ?
Well, I fished out the console this morning and have been play Street Fighter third strike for the last 2 or so hours.
My best memorys of the system probably were........beating Bigs story in Sonic Adventure ( Fishing was near impossible ).......Finding out that there was a Super Sonic mode in Sonic Adventure nearly a year after I beat the game.........Third strike ( In general )........late nights playing Power Stone 2 with friends.......The memory cards <3

Thankfully alot of the decent games got (or are being) released on other consoles (Shenmue, Jet Set Radio, Powerstone, Phatasy Star Online and the like)

Still a brilliant system though.

Sega should get back into the console market again instead of laying on there asses making poor titles which only sell due to its name alone ....

Memories... Sonic, Ridge Racer, Powerstone, Soul Caliber 2, the 2K series. Nobody can deny that the Cast had some quality titles, it was killed by the DVD player.

Soul Caliber 2,
Soul Calibur 2 wasn't a Dreamcast game.

My god, the death of this system was a tragedy, indeed. It had some amazing games, was online right out of the box, sleek look and interface, comfortable controller.... all kinds of plusses.

To your memory, Dreamcast:

Even though the Dreamcast had Online, shame it wasnt great. It looks very simple but actually trying to get PS online was near impossible.
Also, the Dreamcast is probably the only console I know of that used the Keyboard well, Typing Of The Dead Anyone ?

Im finding the games more rarer and more expensive! Grandia 2 on Ebay is £7 starter bid! I had a gamecube reserved at work for me, but I left and I suspect someone went and bought it :(

What eBay are you on, games go for Coppers on eBay.
This is good time for people who want a Dreamcast. The Console goes for so little on eBay. For £ 20 you could get the console with all the parts and accesories and 10 games or so. Thats a friggin bargin there. I bourght Rez for £ 10 on eBay for the Dreamcast while the one for PS2 goes for nearly 4 times that amount. No joke.

When your unemployed and have £30 to try and last for 4 weeks, they arent coppers at all. And I paid £41 for both Broken Swords ... so yeah the rare games can get expensive on there.

Power Stone was re-released elsewhere? Why wasn't I informed of this? >_>;

Poor Dreamcast. It was a bastion of innovation.

Powerstone is being re-released for the PSP, I class this as an essential purchise.
I didnt know of Jet Set Radio getting a re-release, for what system will it be on.....or has it already been released

Jet Set Radio Future was an early game for the Xbox, I was refering more to the series than a specific game.

Isn't it Jet Grind Radio...?

Hmm.. well mine would have to be Grandia II, Powerstone, Soul Calibur, Sonic Adventures, PSO, Jet Grind Radio. Dreamcast was also the first system I played Soul Reaver on too, so it has some memories for the LoK series as well. Oh and Seaman was frikken amusing.<3 RIP Dreamcast<3
