I have seen: Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Castle in the Sky, Kiki Delivery service (most of it anyways).

BTW Nausicaa is an amazing manga; it is so much better than the movie.

I've seen them all, Totoro is at once the best film and best character he's ever created. Porco Rosso and Howl's Moving Castle are pretty close, though.

I've been catching the ends of Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke lately since they're on CN, and they seem really good. :) I've never watch them fully though. :(

I haven't seen any of Miyazaki's movies except Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. Spirited Away was wonderful, but Princess Mononoke is probably my favorite anime movie of all time.

I've seen all of them. Spirited Away was my favorite (just barely above My Neighbor Totoro), but I saw Howl's Moving Castle the other night and it trumped them. Miyazaki is an amazing filmmaker, I'm glad Cartoon Network and AMC are exposing more people to his work.

I've seen:

-My Neighbor Totoro

-Spirited Away

-Grave of the Fireflies

-Princess Mononoke

-The Cat Returns (:cat::love: )

-Howl's Moving Castle

All amazing. But I wish they could attempt to find good voice actors in the dubs...they don't even try.:cat:

Grave of the Fireflies is the work of Isao Takahata, not Hayao Miyazaki.

-The Cat Returns (:cat::love: )The Cat Returns was the work of Hiroyuki Morita. People ought to know that the Studio Ghibli label does not mean "directed by Miyazaki." And, to be honest, Miyazaki character designs have such a distinct style that it should be obvious what is and isn't his work from just a glance at a character's head.

I've seen

Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro (1979)

Laputa: Castle in the Sky (1986)

My Neighbor Totoro (1988)

Kiki's Delivery Service (1989)

Porco Rosso (1992)

Princess Mononoke (1997)

Spirited Away (2001)
which are all the movies he's directed except Howl's Moviing Castle and Nausicaä of the Valley of Wind. I've read the Nausicaä manga, however.

Porco Rosso is by far the best thing he's ever created. I doubt he or any other animator could produce a work to surpass it.

I've seen pretty much all his films. His so-called "cartoons" single-handedly trump every trashy film Hollywood can think to put out.

What a wonderful experience each one of his films are. Combining his imagination with the wonderful artwork and the music by Joe Hisaishi, there's nothing quite like it.

Take care all.

Sadly, I am yet to watch Princess Mononoke, the one Miyazaki film that I've actually wanted to watch since I've heard of his work...

I have watched Porco Rosso, half of Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, Laputa Castle In The Sky and Nausicaa Of The Valley Of The Wind (which rocks my world, seriously. <3)

I've seen, in this order, Princess Mononoke, Spirted Away, Laputa, and Nausicaä. I remember not really liking Mononoke, but it's been several years since I've seen it and I've grown to love the other three that I've listed. So I plan to see Mononoke again sometime to see if my opinion has changed. I also hope to see all his other films. Right now my favorite is still Spirited Away.

No kidding.

As for me I have seen

-Howl's Moving Castle
-Spirited Away
-Princess Mononoke
-Laputa Castle in the Sky
-Porco Rosso
-My Neighbor Totoro
-Kiki's Delivery Service
-Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

And those are just the ones I thought of off the top of my head. I saw/recorded some of them I didn't have/haven't seen when TCM(I think it was TCM) did thier thing with the Miyazki films

I've seen a good few of his movies, and have reached the conclusion that Princess Mononoke is just perfect. I love the lack of a distinct villian, and that it speaks of the struggles of Man vs Nature.

I guess it is my own interest and "connection" to nature that allows me to enjoy the movie that much.

Totoro was the first thing I ever saw of his, way back when I was about 6 or 7. And I haven't seen it since, but I still love it. Everything else he's done that I've seen has been excellent too, but Princess Mononoke is my favourite.

Does anyone NOT like a Miyazaki movie? I think the only ones I haven't seen are Howl's moving castle and Porco Rosso. But I know I'd like them, 'cause I haven't seen one yet that I haven't liked. Spirited Away was my least favorite so far. But still so much more enjoyable than a vast majority of the tripe I've exposed myself to in media

I've seen Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service. While Kiki's Delivery Service didn't exactly thrill me, Sprited Away completely blew my mind. I can honestly say that it's one of the best animated films I've seen.

I've yet to see My Neighbor Totoro, but I really need to after all I've heard about it.

I have seen

-Kiki's Delivery Service(The best of them all)
-Spirited Away
-Prinicess Mononoke
-Nassica and the Valley of Wind
-Castle in the Sky

I have seen parts of Totoro...I have no want to ever watch the rest of it.

I hate pigs so I hate Porco Rosso by default because I am that superficial. From what I have seen and understand it stars a pig.

I want to see Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro and Howl's Moving Castle.

Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro (1979)
Same here, Im a big Lupin fan, although I prefer Secret of Mamo.

Castle of Cagliostro is a very, very good movie, but it's not considered to be a very good Lupin movie, since Miyazaki depicted him as a much more gallant hero than the incorrigible criminal sex maniac to which Lupin fans are accustomed.

An interesting little fact about Spirited Away:

Although Hayao Miyazaki had considered retiring after completing Mononoke-hime (1997), he was inspired to make this film after seeing a friend's sullen ten year old daughter.

I saw Howl's Moving Castle it's opening night. We had to drive 40 minutes to Philly but it was worth it, hell it actually made it better because Philly rocks.

I've seen all the Miyazaki movies listed, and I've seen the Ghibli films Grave of the Fireflies, The Cat Returns, and Pom Poko.

I like Laputa the best of his earlier films, although Princess Mononoke is his all-time best (Spirited Away comes a close second though). I found Kiki and Totoro fun movies as well.

I'm a little torn about Howl though. Visually, it's a stunning film, but the plot left me confused in several places.

Of the non-Miyazaki Ghibli films, the Cat Returns is my favorite. Grave is a better movie, but very, very sad. :(

"My Neighbor Totoro" is quite possibly my favorite film of all time. Which is kinda saying a lot. XD Seriously though, I loved it when I was a kid, and I watch it now and it's still perfect. I have two different DVD versions of it and I listen to the soundtrack obsessively. XD

"Princess Mononoke" and "Spirited Away" were both also very, very good. Miyazaki is one of my favorite filmmakers.

I've watched Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, The Cat Returns, and Porco Rosso. I've seen Howl's moving Castle recently. It was awesome. I still think The Cat Returns is the best out of all of them though. It's the funniest out of all of them. :p
