Has anyone else tried it out yet? I picked up a copy this weekend and am very happy with it. It's well worth every penny over $50 it costs. Getting together and drinking some brew while playing this with friends is a great time. I think my friends were more amused than me though. I really get into it, which is really the point. Go on and be a rock star.

I know for a fact Cowboys From Hell is on there, which I can play on the Bass, so I should be able to tear it up sufficiently. Actually all my practice on my bass will help a lot since the principle is somewhat the same, only much more simplified for GH.

I bought it a couple of days ago. It seems pretty easy so far. I'm almost done with career mode on Normal.

i played this at my cousins house with a friend for a mere couple of songs, and instantly fell in love with it that i dished out 70 shells for one at the local best buy and fell in love with it. it does get pretty hard tho, at least for me. ne1 that can beat bark at the moon first try is def skilled. but yes, a great multiplayer, even if u don't have a second guitar cuz u can use the shoulder buttons ona standard controller. recommended to ne1 who wants to have fun :)

Easy and normal are far to easy. Things pick up on hard, and I've yet to beat half of expert. Who do you play as? I usually play as "Nails" with a Zack Wylde Les Paul.

Yeah, things do seem harder on Hard. I got my first 3-star, but the rest have been 4 stars.

I play as Clive Winston with a custom cherry Gibson ES-335.

I love this game, but because I'm absolutely stupid when it comes to guitar I haven't dared myself past easy mode.

I still totally rawk out, though. I'm pretty good at that.

I've yet to hit below three star. Queen's Killer Queen has some pretty complicated chord combos on expert, and a lot of the heavy metal songs have ungodly hard solos in them. Be sure to learn hammer ons and pull offs early. You really need them.

I have no idea how to get below three stars and still finish the song... I don't even know if it's possible!

If things are too easy for you, you should just skip to expert. Bark at the Moon on expert is pretty crazy.

Yeah, I've gotten stuck on the last two songs at the Garden on Hard.

On my birthday we stopped at Best Buy and BJ and I ended up playing Guitar Hero for two hours. xD Game is freaking addicting. We'd totally buy two guitars for it if we had a PS2.

Killer Queen was one of the easiest Experts I've done so far. And it just so happens to be one of the songs I can stand the most amongst the choices.

I got stuck on Cowboys from Hell and Bark at the Moon on Hard, so I skipped them.

Those two and Frankenstein are where I'm stuck now on expert.

Those are now the three songs I have left. I've gotten to this point without ever doing Hammer-Ons or Pull-Offs, which I find kind of weird.

Edit: Which is probably why I've been promptly owned on Cowboys from Hell, 11%, 12% and 9% complete on my first three tries.

Edit 2: I finally got past the opening riffs. 17%.

Edit 3: 66% this time. It really helped to have gotten myself Star power when it went back to the opening riffs again, so I could BS through without losing too much rock meter.

Edit 4: YES! Done with Cowboys from Hell. 3 stars, 95K points. Good enough for me. Bark at the Moon left.

Edit 5: I've now failed on Bark at the Moon twice at 95% and once on 96%. And now on 97%. Oh my God. 99%. 96%. Enough upper-90s failing for one night.
