The first three of both series...es were great, but Spyro wins by miles. For one, the levels are much larger and are more free, unlike Crash where you walk down a narrow path and are very limited in space.

SPYRO! cuz the little guys purple and cuz the game was more fun back in the day when i did herbs and stuff... Crash and his big stupid grin make me angry... It also had something to do with both of the original dev teams parting from Universal, but having to leave all of the rights to the franchises behind at the companies - leaving Universal to churn out uninspired crap, while the dev teams go on to create much bigger and better things (the Jak and Ratchet and Clank series, respectively from Naughty Dog and Insomniac)
