How do you deal with stress? Do you release it somehow or just try to make it go away somehow? I am so freaking stressed out lately. I need to release somehow. I miss that old boxing bag. :( Oh well! Anyway uhm. Feel free to talk about that topic in here, yeah, that's cool.

I throw a teddy bear across the room and scream into my pillow so no one can hear. Stomping is also good. OR watch TV and go on the internet and eat. :D

I used to get grumpy and take it out on other people, which is a sucky thing to do. I still can't help it sometimes when I'm having a real bad day.

Nowadays I just jump in the shower and stay there for an hour or more. It's really very relaxing and gives you time to think without interruption.

Mostly, I try to make myself relaxe by just sort of secluding myself. I work on my breathing taking deep breaths in and out. I try to clear my mind and let everything go. Also I go near nature, for that seems always to relaxe me; there is just something about the awe of nature that soothes me.

Handy, seeing as I play hockey three times a week anyway and go to art college. I'm not that stressed. :)

Aside from deadlines...if its deadlines then I throw myself into my work and go 'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!!'

I sleep. I also sing along with my music.

It takes me forever to get stressed/angry, and almost no time to get rid of it in a positive manner. I'm awesome.

When I get stressed it's all about food. I either over eat or eat nothing at all. If I'm REALLY stressed, I eat nothing. Or I just go onto #eoff and shout at all the people who annoy me...

Depends on what kind of stress you have I guess.

I'd recommend either

vigorous exercise
hot showers
yoga
intercourse
meditation
a good book

When I get stressed there's nothing better than eating or playing playstation!! ^_^ lol

seriously If I'm really stressed I'll either watch anime or play playstation or something to get my mind off it and chill out. Then when I am relaxed I work towards soliving my problem of stress, like for example, if I'm worried about a test I'll study harder, If it's social I'll try talking to people, and so on
If I'm pressed for time then I'll probably skip the relaxed part though

I find that I talk a lot, to anybody who shuts up long enough for me to start. It's basically talking to myself and working stuff in my head out aloud and people want to throw things at me.

Or I get mad and pitch a fit and yell and demand hugs.

I have panic attacks and drink a gallon of coffee. Then I do something creativly useless that only amuses myself, like record a song off of megaman accapella with my computer mic.

I bitch and moan until I've pissed all of my friends off. That makes me even more stressed. I don't handle stress well. I don't like stress. I just like to get these things that I am stressing over done with as soon as possible. I'm not able to do ANYTHING until then.

sometimes it helps you and another person just to simply talk about your problems openly to one another.Some one close to you or just some one like us. YOu may consider some of us to be close to you but I was shooting for some one more along the lines as a girlfriend or wife or brother ect ect.

Please feel free to discuss any problems, we are no experts of your problems but surely we can all relate to having problems ourselves .

Stress is like a heavy weight that grows less in mass as we lower it. Prehaps we can help you find ways to easier cope with your stress levels and to lower them.

1st we would need to know why you are stressed out.:)

I do a variety of things, but all involve one important aspect: exercise. Whether it be playing a sport, playing music, or just using up energy, I find that when I've let a lot of energy out, my stress goes away or at least, isn't as bad as it was.

I don't get stressed out easly. I just never have been very stressed. But if I need to get my mind off things, I'll read a book, play a video game, or go do something physical (basketball, etc.). I have even punched a wall before... twice.

To unstress, I just do something that I love doing, or something that relaxes me. I sing at the top of my lungs (I'm good so no one complains ^^'), draw, play a video game, watch a movie, go to the movies, have a nice long hot shower and yeah. I just do something that I love doing, because they are usually the things that relax me.

Usually it's nicer to let the stress overwhelm you until someone pities you and buys you something.

If I can, I (eat?) a big, fat bowl of (Cocoa Puffs?) and play a video game. If I don't have any (Cocoa Puffs?), I like to ride my bicycle deep into the forest or go dancing at a good nightclub.

Although, MadLibs can be fun, too.

If you want a serious answer i would recommend taking vitiman B tablets. They will reduce your stress levels(which in turn makes you feel better on the inside and look better on the out). Its great for giving you a good nights sleep aswell which stress seems to take away. Hope that helped

I don't deal with stress. My Xbox is virtually dead, and it moans in pain whenever I turn it on. Then I hit it and break it even more (and hurt myself in the process considering it's an Xbox!!), which is not good when you're stressed.. :) As for my PC, anything I do on it is usually creative, which is not good when you're stressed. So I usually just lie in bed. But then there's a lack of activity, so I think. I think about loads of negative things, which is not good when you're stressed.
