Zidane: On the Kuja issue, someone else told us Square originally planned Kuja to be a woman, but in the story twice Kuja trys to flirt with Garnet, and they didn't know if other countries were ready for that, so they changed Kuja from a woman to a (cross-dressing) man.
A: That's your opinion, our opinion is Garnet's beauty outdoes all other female Final Fantasians.

A. Final Fantasy was really a book from Ancient Rome, and it featured characters such as Odysseus and Jimmy Carter and Hermione Granger, who were all on a mission to conquer the land mass now known as Antarctica. Squaresoft uncovered this book on a digging expedition, and wanted to make a game out of it. Since a lot of the story was altered upon making the first couple games, Squaresoft felt bad and wanted to preserve some of the Ancient Roman story, so they kept the roman numerals.
