Would you have the patience?

Instead of Final Fantasy XII being released for the PS2, would you have the patience to wait for the PS3 and have Square make FFXII for the PS3 with unbelievable graphics and gameplay? Personally I couldnt wait, I want FFXII right now! how bout you guys?

I could wait.

The thing that made me so impatient with FFXII was all those damn false release dates. If Squeenix had said from the beginning that it wouldn't be released until 2006, I think people could have accepted that and waited. But instead they had one release date after another, constantly pushing it back, that's what made me so damn impatient and frustrated to get my hands on the game.

If they had said that this game was gonna come out with the new PS3, I would have happily waited for that. If they had pushed it back after setting the release date already... well then I would have said, "hell no".

i dont care much about graphics. im know FF12s will be great but the storys already completed and the only difference for PS3 would be better graphics which wouldnt make the game much better.

Well I think we've all been patiently waiting for FFXII to arrive and now that it's in the horizon I don't think we'll want anymore delays. :) Personally I can't wait as I'm a huge FF fan since the beginning. Anyway I hear that you can play FFXII on the PS3 and the graphics will be more enhanced and furthermore it looks like both FFXII and the PS3 will be released in November 2006. Till then happy fantasizing! ;)

No, because Square would probably do the cheap thing and only make minor upgrades to the game to pass it off as a PS3 game.

So instead of being an awesome PS2 game, it would be a /xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gif/xxx.gifty PS3 game.

No, The graphics and gameplay look good enough to me. I wouldnt mind better graphics and improvements but the wait isnt worth it.

Sure, I could wait, because I'm certainly not dying to play another Final Fantasy, but I'd rather see them work on something brand new for the PS3.

It still has great graphics and it still beats Oblivion... there is no reason for them to delay it more to release it on the PS3.

Nah I wouldnt want to wait. Anyway I'd imagine they're already working on FFXIII for the PS3.

nope. If they were to suddendly say, "we changed our minds, we'll wait to release it on the PS3", it would take another 3 years probably. I'm sick and tired of waiting.

Its bad enough that its released in Japan about 3/4 of a year earlier, so all the spoilers will be out. I say release it ASAP, to avoid as much "spoiling" as possible.

And hopefully, it'l be released in Europe at the same time, to avoid further "spoiling" for those people.

I can't wait either, we always have to wait so long, it doesn't really matter wether the graphix are better, as long as the story and the characters are good...
and I think we will have to wait a very long tim until the PS3 reaches Europe.....

We need one more for the PS2. It's not worth the wait. Besides, graphics aren't all that important anyway.

The graphics have been getting 9/10 or 10/10 in the reviews which is good enough for me.

If it was a COMPLETELY different cast of characters. Take out Vaan and I'm fine with it. But in all reality I'm looking forward to FFXIII
