Recently,I uninstalled all messengers, because they were making my computer vulnerable and full of spyware/viruses etc.

Of course I'm not saying that now I am free of all these troublesome programs, but I hope that I have reduced them in some sort of way.

Moreover,I used to have the Opera web browser (which is said to be the safest)and it was killing my p.c.!

Now I have mozilla and I hope that it is not THAT vulnerable . .(I don't even think of using ie) --see this (http://www.windowsecurity.com/articles/Web-Browser-Vulnerabilities.html)--
I use panda titanium antivirus, just to know.

Therefore I seek some help, concerning internet safety.(Of course I don't believe that 100% safety can be achieved)

Just to know,I also state that I have some ports open, because of some internet games..(well,if I closed them all,the p.c. would be safe but useless!)In addition,I scan my p.c. for virus frequently, but the freezing does not stop completly..

Nonetheless,I know that this ''freezing'' of my p.c. could be a hardware problem (or another issue) Although I have updated all my hardware drivers...

At this time,I would like to know of any freezing remedies that you can suggest to me.

If you know of any tips/advice on how to keep my p.c. as clean as possible and any ways to stop the freezing of my p.c,help would be much appretiated.:)

Spybot: S&D = :<3:. Make sure to run it often. It'll remove a bunch of spyware and the sort and can really help with all sorts of stuff. That is my only general tip right now.
