I dont know if this thread will be allowed,but i was reading a ff7 website yesterday,and i read about a secret character called Boxer. You fight him on Goblin Island and if you defeat him you end up in a field,where you get to talk to him (like with Yuffie). If you answer his Questions in a certain way he will join your party. I don't think it's true,but i just wanted to know what other Final Fantasy Rumours you've heard and how true do you think they are.:choc2:

I read about the Boxer rumor too, didn't try it though.

I read one about The Emerald Weapon's Aire Tad Storm,
if you have less than 9 materias on a character,
The Emerald Weapon can't do full damage on you.
For example, if you have 5 materias, he'll do 5555.
Another one i haven't tried yet.

I read somewhere that there's a secret character named Shannon in FF9. You first meet her in Cleyra then again in Lindblum b4 u get the Airship. She's supposed to be linked to Daguerro(like Yuffie is linked to Wutai). And if you enter Daguerro with her and Freya in your party the first time you go there, you learn alot more about the place and Burmecia+Cleyra.

actually that "rumor" is true, he does 1111 damage for each materia, so if you have 9999 and two materia, he'll hit you to 7777

Yep that trick works,
I've finished off Emerald Weapon with the lucky 7's.
After about 3 or 4 minutes he flashed red (you know what I'm talking about).

That's the first time I've finished him without Knights of the Round,
if everyone else did this already, well done to you!!!
Although I'm sure you've done this long before me.

You can get a playable character called Shannon in FF9, you need a GameShark for it though. There's also a load of rumours about Excalibre 3, most of them are rubbish but one of them is true :eek: , i know cos i've got it, but i ain't telling you where it is. :D

Too bad that by that point in the game lucky 7s sucks. I never used any lucky 7s strategies cuz the damage is way too low when I could be hitting for 9999 with normal attacks with 4xcut/slash-all. *shrugs*
