How do you feel to be there. Do you think that our troops should be there? What do most iraqies think of you there? What about the president?

Let's not turn this into some kind of political debate now.

Excellent pictures, undeadhero. Love the hedgehog pic, the EoFF on the wall, and the one with you looking like you've been through WWIII, :moomba:.

Many thanks,

:)

I wanted to post pictures of scenery more than the kind of stuff you normally see. We've all seen to many war pictures. That palace was really neat. There were about a dozen buildings all with lakes around them that were man made and filled with water from the Tigris or Euphrates river, I don't remember which. In the bathrooms the toilets were made from gold and everthing was made of all kinds of neat stones everywhere in the palace. A lot of the walls around have things spraypainted like Joe loves Michelle and different things like that, I just felt like adding something different. The castle in the background of my picture was never finished. Saddam fired all the architects and never had a chance to finish it. We didn't blow it up. I had fun playing with the kids that day. We were splashing around in the puddles and running around. I picked up two handfuls of bottlecaps and would throw them into the air and all the kids would run around picking them up and bringing them back to me. My favorite picture was the one with the sun shining in the building and off the water. It was in a building in the middle of a lake with a land bridge going to it.

It just looks so out of place, and I would be surprised if it had been there for the last three years.

Combat Engineering RESPECT!

:D

I do pity you a bit, though...

... having to lug around that hefty M-16A2.... haven't you gentlemen anything shorter and less bulky to carry? I mean, you do ride mechanised equipment an' all... I would think a carbine M-16, M4 or at least an AK-47 are in order, non?

Anyway, I hope you had a good time (as much as possible, anyway), and that you'll continue to take good care of yourself.
