I'm sick and I have to work

...And I just started. I want sweet sweet slumber, but there's a good 8 hours or so before I can return home. I have anime and south park and movies to distract me, but what if my attention span dies?

How would you handle this situation? Suggestions?

Not much you can do, I'm afraid. Just take it as easy as you can and tough it out.

The best solution I can think of is tape what you want to watch whenever you're working and watch the tapes on days you have no work. It's the only solution that I can think of right now.

I was very ill at work today, but we were so short-handed that I needed to stay and take care of things around the tech shop while my coworkers actually did the work I couldn't do. I got through today only by the saving grace of a long series of South Park episodes and cans of Cherry Coke. Otherwise I would have spent the whole day spilling my guts in the bathroom. :p Next time, just keep your eyes on the computer screen and shut off your brain. It'll keep you from feeling any worse and the time slips by fast.
