Agent Proto

Apparently, I'm not allowed to change my name ever again, as shown how unpopular it is when I do.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v356/proto3k2/clue.gif

Now, time for a short poll. Should I, Agent Proto, never be allowed to request a name change? Who else should never be allowed a name change as well? Let's listen to what you have to say!

Unless the name change you're considering is to "GODDAMMIT PROTO!", I vote mmm guess? :D

When Seifer 007 showed up, I wondered who the hell the whiney oldbie was, and where they'd come from, and when they'd go back there. It was only when I saw that he had made the EoFF Hall of Fame thread that I realised the horrible truth.

I never change my name, and if it's good enough for me, it's good enough for Agent Proto! (but not good enough for anyone else. We're bottom of the pile)

I was going to send you a PM basically saying 'GODDAMMIT PROTO', Expressing my pure hate for that name. But then I realised I had other stuff to do. In fact, I was just about to send it now, but I saw this thread with the name "Agent Proto" underneath. I am happy now.

I say we should ban name changes all together, they only get changed back because people realise they look stupid with some deep and meaningful name

But I'm just angry that I cannot make fun of ScottNUMBERS

EDIT: and the fact that yuna-elena changed her name to shauna

Yeah, I thought the same, actually. :p

I'd probably never change my name again. Even though people probably still haven't made the connection between yuna_elena and Shauna. :p But yeah, I don't think I'll change my name, unless I get a decent new name. NOT yuna-elena, Mr. Manus.

Seifer 007 is actually someone else's name, though - he's best known for the FF8 Encyclopedia which is up on the EoFF frontsite. Hard working guy who also at one point was updating the News.

Changing your name is a silly thing to do if you already have an established name.

Awful name changes of the past include Flying Mullet changing to 'fig', Cid changing to 'Sean' and Agent Proto changing to anything that isn't Agent Proto.

In future, members should have to pay a fee of $20 or so for a name change, forcing people to actually think through any sucky ideas they may have, and raising valuable funds for the forum at the same time. Meanwhile, a payment of $25 would enable you to change someone else's name. ;)

Agent Proto's a good name. Change it if you wish, but it'll probably end up worse.

I managed to work out who you were from the Hall of Fame thread. I thought you had stepped back into a time of FF fanaticism.

I don't like name changes because then I get confused about who somebody is. :(

I've had my name different a few times and once fairly recently and I've been here forever. But I'm not sure if that matters or not, noone knows me anyways. XD

As for you PrOOt, I think you should do whatever you want to do, though it did confuse the hell outta me for like a minute and a half, but then I was already used to it again. All name changes confuse people a little, but I think thats almost the point.

I changed my name from Marick to this. I plan on another name change sometime, which I already have in mind. But it will be obvious as to who I am.

Further, Proto shouldn't be allowed to change his name, ever.

I recommend that you don't change your name unless your name that you're changing to is similar to your last name.

Well at least you made it obvious that you changed your name. It's not like people would think Maxx Power and Captain Maxx Power are different people.
